Choosing Your Self Storage Unit Size

When deciding on your self storage unit size, there are a number of things to take in to consideration. If you plan on storing your belongings for any length of time and not accessing them for a while then you can pack things more tightly.

If on the other hand you need continuous access then stacking things lower and providing a 'corridor' space will make access much easier.

Obviously the kind of items you intend to store will have an impact on the size of unit you require.

If you are storing belongings or items that you are comfortable to store in a shed or garage then standard self storage may be the best option for you.

If you have belongings that may be sensitive to climate or humidity then a climate controlled unit will be the best option for you.

Climate controlled units keep a steady temperature throughout the year and block humidity.

Electronic equipment, papers, leather products, metal items and photos will be best protected in a climate controlled unit.

If you are considering longer term storage a climate controlled unit is also probably the best option.
